In 2017 the UoG Tritons went undefeated in the Guam Basketball League, winning the championship with a 20-0 record.
Coach Tipton graduated from Northland International University in 2008 with a B.S. in Physical Education. While at NIU he played basketball 3 years for the Pioneers, helping them win the Midwest Regional Championship and a birth in the NCCAA National Tournament his junior season.
